Who We Are

Per Usual Co started with an aunt and niece on a hunt for the most skin-nourishing bar of soap we could find. The more we researched, the more we kept landing on one ingredient: persimmon. It's rich, gentle, and does something most soaps don't. It helps fight the odor that comes with age, 2-nonenal, instead of just covering it up.

What if I don't love it?

You have 45 days from the day your order arrives. If it is not right for you, email us and we will send you a prepaid shipping label. Send back the bars you have not used and we will refund them. Returning your order costs you nothing.

Already opened a bar and still not happy? Reach out anyway and we will take a look.

How do I use it, and where on my body?

Use it like any bar of soap in the shower. Wash your whole body, or focus on the areas where you want to stay fresh, then rinse well.

Is this gentle on the skin?

Every skin is different, but yes, this bar is made to be gentle and nourishing. Shea butter, plant oils, and vitamin E help keep your skin soft and cared for.

What does it smell like?

It has a soft, natural scent. It is light, so it will not fight with your perfume or lotion.

What is in it?

Here is what is inside: real persimmon extract, green tea extract, shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, vitamin E, plus gentle plant-based cleansers and moisturizers (glycerin, sorbitol, and betaine). Persimmon is full of vitamin C. Persimmon has been loved in Japanese beauty for a long time.
